Date: Wednesday, December 20

Time: 7:45 p.m. GMT/2:45 p.m. ET

Chelsea vs AFC Bournemouth

Chelsea and Bournemouth will go head-to-head at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday in the quarter-final of the Carabao Cup.

The Blues edged out Southampton 1-0 on Saturday, while Bournemouth slipped to a 4-0 defeat to Liverpool the following day.

Read on for a closer look at the contest, but first here are the coverage details for the match:

Marcos Alonso will be absent from the clash after he picked up his fifth Premier League booking of the season against Southampton. According to Blues boss Antonio Conte, that presents a problem for Chelsea, per Goal’s Nizaar Kinsella:

Meanwhile, David Luiz is likely to remain an absentee as he deals with a “serious” knee injury, per Ryan Benson of the same outlet.

According to Transfermarkt, Tyrone Mings and Brad Smith are long-term absentees with back and hip problems, respectively.

Chelsea have largely been in excellent form of late, but Conte believes that has gone under the radar because of Manchester City’s superlative run of 16 wins, per ESPN FC’s Liam Twomey,

The Italian perhaps has a point, but most importantly for the Blues, it stands them in good stead as they gear up to face the Cherries on Wednesday, even if Conte opts to rotate his side.

One player who could be brought back into the team by the manager is Alvaro Morata.

Chelsea’s marquee summer signing has been given a break of late, having played just 17 minutes against Southampton after being left out of the squad entirely for the 3-1 win over Huddersfield Town.

The Spaniard has been a strong capture for the Blues having netted 10 goals so far this season, but Kinsella suggested he has a fight on his hands for a place up front,

Horn vs Corcoran

Horn vs Corcoran Live Stream Online,JEFF Horn will defend his WBO welterweight title for the first time on Wednesday when he battles Brit Gary ‘The Hellraiser’ Corcoran. The ‘Battle of Brisbane 2’ follows the epic clash between Horn and Manny Pacquiao, which saw Horn dethrone the legend and stake his claim to boxing fame.

Horn vs Corcoran Live

Horn vs Corcoran

He is now a world boxing champion ready for a battle tonight in which he could face headbutts, biting, low blows, rabbit punches, and the biggest shock: the early arrival of the couple’s baby daughter.

“I’m confident I have the speed and skills to beat Gary. The only problem will be if Jo delivers our little girl at the fight,’’ Horn said with a laugh.

“We might have to postpone the bout for a few hours because Jo will kill me if I don’t go to the hospital with her.

IN just five months Jeff Horn’s world has flipped on its axis. The hunter is now the hunted.

While Manny Pacquiao was making grand plans and overlooking Horn before their fight in Brisbane, the same now applies to the Australian.

According to reports, Bob Arum and Top Rank is sizing up the Brisbane fighter for a shot at Terrence Crawford in America in March or April 2018.

But first, Horn must see his way past Gary Corcoran when they meet inside the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre in front of an expected “capacity crowd” on Wednesday, December 13.

After no food or water for 12 hours and an hour-long steaming hot bath to wring out the last bit of moisture in his body, Horn yesterday made the welterweight limit for his WBO world title fight with the hard-fighting English gypsy.

He had dropped 4kg since Monday night.

He was in buoyant spirits after yesterday’s 2pm weigh-in at the Convention Centre with a small bottle of water and a large sports drink.

For extra spice on an almost empty stomach, he then donned a unique prop – a pair of ear muffs with boxing gloves and teeth attached – as a nod to his opponent’s threat to bite him.

Horn weighed 66.52kg and Corcoran 66.47kg. The welterweight limit is 66.68kg.

While Corcoran is full of confidence, he is still so little known in the world of boxing that American ring announcer Michael Buffer – famous for his “Let’s Get Ready to Rumble’’ introduction – twice introduced him to the crowd as “Gary Gallagher’’, drawing heavy groans from Corcoran’s team and from Bob Arum, the world’s leading promoter.

The main undercard kicks off at 7.30pm (AEDT), beginning with Queenslander Paul Fleming’s super-featherweight fight against Vergil Puton from the Philippines.

The seven-fight card actually begins at 5.30pm (AEDT) with Fox Sports 507 to broadcast the first three fights of the evening.

Main Event has exclusive rights to the pay-per-view final four fights on the card from 7.30pm (AEDT).

Just as Horn showed in the ring against Pacquiao, there are incredible riches waiting for the winner and incredible, unforeseen consequences for the loser.

The Pacquiao camp is still ruing overlooking the Aussie. The Filipino senator was meant to fly to Australia, collect the millions, keep the engine going ahead of his own super fight with Crawford, planned to end 2018.

Instead, Pacquiao may not fight again, or could be lining up a showdown with UFC star Conor McGregor, depending on what latest rumour you choose to believe.

Army vs Navy Live

What: Army Black Knights (8-3) vs. Navy Midshipmen (6-5)

When: 12 p.m. PT, Saturday, Dec. 9

Where: M&T Bank Stadium, Baltimore, Maryland

Army vs Navy

Series history: This is 118th meeting between Army and Navy, with the Midshipmen holding a 60-50-7 advantage.

Previous meeting: Army won last year’s game 21-17, its first victory in the series since 2001 (15 games).

To close the college football regular season, a classic rivalry game will take place on Saturday afternoon between Army and Navy. This will take place at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, MD, home of the NFL’s Baltimore Ravens.

Army is heading into their last game of the season at 6-5. They clinched a bowl game already since they have six wins, and will face North Texas in the Heart of Dallas Bowl later in the postseason.

The Black Knights have struggled in the second half of the season, though, as they began the year 3-0 and lost five of their last seven. They lost two of their past three games to Air Force and Notre Dame, but destroyed Morgan State, 60-3.

Navy has had a terrific year after star quarterback Keenan Reynolds went to the NFL Draft. They are 9-3 and sit at No. 25 in the polls, mostly due to four wins in their past five games. This includes defeating Notre Dame earlier this season.

However, the Midshipmen will be without some crucial players. They lost quarterback Will Worth and running back Toneo Gulley to season-ending injuries last weekend, and will have to roll with backups to take on their rivals. This will technically be Navy’s third quarterback of the year as they started with Tago Smith to start the season.

The game will see Navy looking to avenge last year’s loss to Army, their first setback to them in 14 meetings. Lincoln Financial Field hosts the game, as it will for the next four years. The players are excited to play in the home of the NFL’s Philadelphia Eagles.

“The team loves to be able to play in an NFL Stadium,” Army defensive lineman and captain John Voit said. “It feels like you’re big time and makes the game so much bigger.”

Venue: London Stadium, Stratford, London

West Ham United vs Chelsea

Chelsea will travel across London to face West Ham United on Saturday, as they look to continue their Premier League unbeaten streak.

The Blues have not suffered a domestic loss since October 14, when another London-based club, Crystal Palace, shocked the champions. West Ham are tied on points with the Eagles, and a Hammers win would be an equally big upset.

West Ham are winless in the Premier League since September 30 and have won just two league matches all year―both at London Stadium. Here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming match.

According to, Kenedy, Charly Musonda and David Luiz are expected to miss out for the visitors, while Marcos Alonso and Danny Drinkwater are likely to start after they were rested in midweek.

The Hammers will be without a whole host of injured players, including Sam Byram and Winston Reid. Adrian is likely to start ahead of Joe Hart after his solid showing against Manchester City.

West Ham’s season has been something of a calamity so far, with just two wins in 15 Premier League outings and a share of 18th place with Crystal Palace in the standings―although the Eagles have the better goal difference.

David Moyes has been in charge of the club for a month now, and in that span, the Hammers have earned one point―from a home draw against Leicester City.

Where: BMO Field in Toronto, Canada.

Toronto FC vs Seattle Sounders FC

The 2017 MLS Cup is almost here. On Saturday, Toronto FC welcomes the Seattle Sounders to Canada for the final, which is a rematch of last year’s MLS Cup. The 2016 edition was won by Seattle on penalty kicks, but Toronto gets its shot at revenge after producing a spectacular regular season, finishing with 12 points more than any team in the league.

The game will be a rematch of last year’s MLS Cup. The Sounders upset Toronto on penalty kicks at BMO Field to secure the 2016 MLS Cup.

Toronto, the 2017 Supporters’ Shield winners, advanced to their second-straight MLS Cup after ousting the Columbus Crew in the Eastern Conference Championship. The Sounders advanced to their second-straight MLS Cup after beating the Houston Dynamo in the Western Conference Championship.

Saturday’s MLS Cup rematch between Toronto FC and the Seattle Sounders is more than a battle for 2017 supremacy; it’s a contest between two of the biggest clubs in Major League Soccer.

TFC and Seattle both have deep pockets, and both use them to push the league forward. As Toronto head coach Greg Vanney noted late last week, both clubs rank at or near the top of the league in spending on their rosters, technical staffs, academies, sport science departments and USL sides. That’s led to excellent results on the field, with TFC looking to cement their status as one of the top MLS teams of all-time by avenging their 2016 MLS Cup loss to the defending champion Sounders on Saturday (4 pm ET on ESPN, UniMás, TSN, TVAS).

“It’ll be two good teams [who] deserve to be there,” Vanney said. “It’s also two big clubs, who spend resources on their teams, academies, scouting, sport science. A tip of the hat to both in trying to push this league forward.”

Of course, the success of both clubs extends well beyond the field. Toronto and Seattle pack their stadiums, they have plenty of regional and national reach and they are near the top of MLS in sponsorship revenue, something that enables both to spend big on stars like Sebastian Giovinco, Michael Bradley, Clint Dempsey and Nicolas Lodeiro.

We’ll find out which team will win the 2017 title on Saturday, but determining which club is “bigger” is a more nebulous process.

Both teams can make a realistic case for the crown depending on the weight given to different on- and off-field factors. For just about every variable where one team has an edge, the other can point to a separate metric where they have a leg up. Seattle have long been the class of MLS in terms of attendance, but Toronto spend more on their roster than any other club. Each TFC match can be seen across Canada, but the Sounders have led the league in local TV ratings for several years running. You get the picture.

It makes for an interesting discussion in the case of these two specific clubs. Here’s a look at how both rated in a few different categories and the underlying data could help in revealing a final verdict:

Army Black Knights vs Navy Midshipmen

Army Black Knights Outlook

Wouldn’t it be great if Army started the game with a spread look and began passing? Probably not, but Navy wouldn’t be ready for that. Too bad Jeff Monken is anti-passing, but he does have a good reason why. Monken’s team has passed just 60 times this season. Think about that, they’ve thrown that many passes all season while Washington State and Texas Tech could easily eclipse that in one game. Crazy. The Black Knights have completed just 18 of those passes, with two of those turning into touchdowns with five interceptions. It’s not that Monken hates passing, it’s that his team is so much better running the ball.

Army, as a team, is averaging 6.2 yards per rush, which is more than they average on pass attempts. That’s enough to keep the ball on the ground, and it begins with Ahmad Bradshaw. Army’s quarterback has carried the ball 189 times this year for 1,472 yards and 11 touchdowns. He is the key piece in the offense, and has the ability to manipulate defenses with the triple option. His stable of backs also contribute. Darnell Woolfolk, Andy Davidson, and Kell Walker have combined with Bradshaw for 3,210 yards and 32 touchdowns on the ground. What else does an offense need?

We’ve all heard the stat before, but winning three games without throwing a pass is outstanding. Their season high in pass completions is eight, and neither Bradshaw nor backup Kelvin Hopkins Jr. have completed more than five in any game. The triple option allows you to do that. Playing Navy produces the challenge of familiarity, so we may see a few more pass attempts, but Monken is set in his ways on the ground. Don’t get your hopes up too high.

Army is 8-3, but could easily be 10-1 as two losses by a combined seven points could have swung the other way. A big reason is the play of a defense that needed to replace multiple starters coming into this year. The Black Knights lost a lot on defense, mostly their leaders at linebacker. Players like Cole Christiansen and James Nachtigal have stepped up, but it’s been the play of Alex Aukerman that has really been noticeable. Aukerman has made a habit of getting behind the line of scrimmage to make plays, and has 14.5 tackles for loss with six sacks. So it’s not just the offense you have to worry about, but the defense too. Navy’s triple option also won’t provide anything that this group hasn’t seen before.

Last year’s win marked the end of an impressive Navy win streak. Army was starved for a win in this rivalry and finally got one. With the Commander in Chief’s Trophy on the line for the first time since 2012, an Army win would be a huge shift in the rivalry between the academies.

Navy Midshipmen Outlook

Navy is on the opposite end of the spectrum. After starting the season 5-0, they’ve lost five of the last six games. The encouraging news for the Mids is that while they have been on the wrong end of result, they haven’t lost a single game by more than 10 points. They have more than held their own in just about every outing this season.

It all starts with quarterback Zach Abey, who leads Navy with 1,322 yards rushing and 14 rushing touchdowns, and another 803 yards and seven touchdowns through the air. The Army-Navy matchup will always be extra special to Abey because he made his first career start in last year’s loss after Will Worth broke his foot in the American Athletic Championship game. However, he‘s feeling the burden as the quarterback who snapped Navy’s 14-game winning streak over Army by throwing two interceptions and only 201 total yards in last year’s loss.

Abey will be the primary ball carrier for the Mids, but keep an eye out for Malcolm Perry, who has stepped in at quarterback when Abey was injured earlier in the season. He should get a good chunk of work as a slotback after averaging 8.9 yards per carry this season and recording nine total touchdowns. Chris High will also see his share of action as he is second on the team in carries.

Navy’s defense doesn’t get enough credit as it should, and even we are guilty of that after listing only D.J. Palmore in our All-AAC teams. Micah Thomas is underrated at linebacker, leading the team in tackles, interceptions and takeaways. Meanwhile, Palmore leads the team in tackles for loss and fumble recoveries. This duo will need to wreck havoc if they hope to slow down Army’s top-ranked rushing offense.

Strictly Come Dancing‬‬ 2017

Strictly Come Dancing‬‬ 2017 Live A total of 15 celebs started off at the launch show on September 9 when they were paired with their professional dance partners, they have since danced their way through 12 gruelling live shows with someone eliminated each week.

Alexandra Burke is having a great run on Strictly Come Dancing, garnering regular praise and high scores from the judges and now through to the semi-finals. But the former X Factor star hasn’t had quite such a positive reception from all quarters, with viewers having voted her into the dance-off in the last two weeks and a minority taking to Twitter to question the veracity of her emotional reactions on the show, and in some cases simply to hurl abuse. Speaking in the new issue of Radio Times magazine, the 29-year-old star, whose mother passed away just prior to the start of Strictly, tells us “my joy and my tears were 100 per cent genuine” and admits she is having a hard time dealing with the “hurtful” comments. “I have struggled with some of the public’s reaction,” says Alexandra.

“I’ve had my fair share of negative press since winning The X Factor nine years ago, but I’ve never experienced anything like this. “Twitter seems to have given people permission to be incredibly hurtful. They don’t seem to realise that I have feelings and get upset. “The saddest thing is that I started the show completely myself – my joy and my tears were 100 per cent genuine, however much people said they were fake – but I’m now so self-conscious, I try not to react at all in case people say, ‘Oh, look, here are the fake tears again’.” She told Radio Times: “

In some ways it’s amazing that Strictly’s got [Shirley] because she is so technical. But being so critical – and so technically critical – straight away with everybody, it just puts a little bit of a downer on the whole show. “If the Head Judge is really technical, the others are sort of following suit a little bit. The judges have gone really technical, and that is a good thing. But they also have to motivate and be a bit more positive.” The 34-year-old, whose brother Kevin is still on the show, added that Shirley was a “great replacement” for former head judge Len Goodman, but admitted she sometimes missed his positivity.

“I love Shirley,” Joanne continued. “She used to teach me, she is a more than qualified judge and she is a great replacement for Len Goodman – although very different to Len. He did have that bit more positivity about him. “If Gemma and Aljaž came out last year and did that Quickstep, Len would’ve got everybody in a great mood and gone, ‘What a way to start the show! What a cracker of a number!’ But Shirley is so focussed on technique, which is kind of a good thing. Kind of a good thing…” Joanne concluded that Shirley “does know her stuff” but thinks she should be more balanced in her approach. She said:

“She probably is one of the most knowledgeable dancers in the ballroom world but it needs to be balanced a little bit with positivity and motivational stuff. “And I’m not saying you have to undermark or overmark, it’s just the comments – don’t go so technical, also because people don’t understand unless it’s explained on It Takes Two. I thought Len was perfect at that – he gave the balance of knowing his stuff but at the same time it was really positive.”
